About Tanja
Tanja Erwee is not a traditional coach — she’s walked through burnout, exhaustion, and body confusion herself. After decades in the corporate world and facing her own midlife unraveling, she found that surface-level advice wasn’t enough. She wanted realignment — from the inside out.
Her coaching is practical, intuitive, and grounded in care.
She prepares before you meet. She guides with intention while you’re together. And she stays with you through the shifts, the resistance, and the subtle progress.

I began my journey with Tanja Erwee just over a month ago, and
from the very first moment we met, I was struck by her genuine warmth and compassion. She

week course, she lost 9 kg, but most importantly she has no more pain because of

Ek is n 51 jarige vrou wat 25 jaar getroud was en skielik is die mat onder my voete uit geruk my
man wil skei. Dit was een van die swaarste dinge in my lew edit het gevoel of my hele lewe
in mekaar stort.
Ek het baie dinge deur gemakk. En het alles probeer. Prosbeer om my eie deur alles werk
en het net nie kop bo water gehou kry nie.
Tanja het my suffering gesien en hulp aangebied. Ek het besluit ek kan niks verloor nie en
ek is nie een dag spyt nie. Sy het my baie gehelp om goed in myself te ondek. Om vir
myself doelgerigte rigting te gee en dan ook na myself om te sien. Ek het sommer dadelik
begin om my eetgewoontes aan te pas. Ek het mooi gewig begin verloor, ek het weer lus
gehad om op te staan en die lewe in die oe te kyk. Ek het “tools” gekry by Tanja om weer
rigting in myself en my lewe te skep. En in die derde sessie kon mense om my al reeds
soveel ander dinge in my raak sien wat verander het, wat ek nie eers besef het nie. Ek sal
enige iemand aanbeveel om vir hulp te gaan, dis nie skande nie. Baie van on sweet nie hoe
om dinge wat swaar is te hanteer nie, want ons het nie geleer om dit te hanteer nie. Maar
daarvoor is Life Coaches daar om ons te help en te lei.
Ek kan nie een dag se dat ek nie beter voel oor myself nie.

In our first session, we started with a food diary and habit
tracker. It was such a wake-up call. I realized I wasn’t eating healthy at all — and I was trying
to fast without giving my body enough fuel. My insulin levels were all over the place, and I’d
often feel dizzy or like I was going to pass out. Not a fun time.
But everything started to shift in our second session. Tanja helped me focus on adding
nutritious foods instead of just taking things away. I stuck with the diary and tracker, but this
time it wasn’t about punishment — it was about nourishment. And wow, what a difference.
Now, just over 7 weeks in, I feel amazing. I’ve dropped a few kilos, I have energy again, I’m
feeling way more positive, and — maybe the biggest thing — I’m learning to actually love
myself again.
Christa is still with me 4 months in, her goal was to lose a bit of weight, but now she is in
control of her life, her whole family has felt the shift. Not only did she lose the weight, she is
a example for her community and get everyone involved. She is currently training to do the
Iron Man half marathon. From overwhelming and wanting to loose weight, to this – it shows
you anything is possible with the right support.

I met Tanja when I booked a back massage with her. The most
incredibly relaxing back massage I’ve ever had! It had felt like a heavy few weeks of being
overwhelmed. I ended up having a good cry during my massage and immediately Tanja
made me feel safe and secure to get those emotions out. It’s so rare to connect with calm,
understanding people these days in a world that is at times fast and full on. Tanja and I
chatted, and our first session together was set up. From our first session Tanja created a
calm and safe space for me to share what my overwhelm was feeling like and what I would
like to work on to start feeling like myself again. As a business owner I tend to let days engulf
me and time not be structured. We created a routine that would encourage calm starts to my
day and downtime in my evenings that would ensure a good sleep. The ‘homework’ that I got

out the best in me. When last had I stopped to investigate my day-to-day life and see where
changes can be made. It was so good to press pause and reassess. Tanja was with me
every step of the way. Guiding me and keep me accountable every session we had together.
I learnt how important nutritional food can be for my feeling of overwhelm and stress. Tanja
did a thorough dive into insulin resistance and the best foods for me to eat to manage it.
Since our sessions my meals are filled with protein and fibre packed, and I’m so much more
aware of where sugar is coming from. These small changes are so beneficial! Thank you,
Tanja, for everything. You helped me take the first steps back into a life that is full of
contentment, much happier days, calmer days and one’s that I’m willing to put myself first in.
